The invention relates to growth technology of water soluble monocrystals and intended for producing of monocrystals of potassium dihydrophosphate (KDP, KHPO), monopotassium phosphate (DKDP, KDPO), and ammonium dihydrophosphate ADP. A method for growth a directional monocrystal of potassium dihydrophosphate group, comprising the preparation of mother solution, preparation and mounting in growing vessel on nucleus platform, filling of crystallizer with solution and crystal growth. The concentration of microimpurities in mother solution does not exceed 5.0·10w/w, plane-parallelplate is used as nucleus which is cut from volumetric crystal so that its greatest surface areas which are parallel to (100) or (010) prisms are installed vertically on the platform and additionally pressed by limiting platform, crystal growth is carried out by method for recirculation of solvent at constant temperature 70-80 ºC and constant supersaturation of 3-5 % solution, at that platform rotation is carried out under push-and-pull accelerated-retarded condition which provides proceeding stream of solution to growing crystal. The use of the method provides the growth of monocrystals of high optical homogeneity and high strength.
