The present invention relates to a method of implementation of a textile preform from a fibrous assembly (20) of continuous fibers, the method comprising a step of heating of the fibrous assembly between a matrix (4) and a punch (2) in order to stiffen this fibrous assembly. In order to reduce the time of treatment, the heating step is carried out by a flow of hot gas through the matrix (4), the fibrous assembly (20) and the punch (2).
