The invention relates to a part comprising a portion adapted to be welded to a portion of another part by application of laser radiation, said portion of the part being transparent to the laser radiation and said portion of the other part being absorbent for the laser radiation, and said portion of the piece being black in color and having at least one layer of a composition comprising a thermoplastic polymer and carbon nanofillers.
