In particular, a system for life cycle operation of a supply chain business transaction comprises recording and storing information regarding participants and products, and recording and tracking products produced and consumed and monitoring contract performance and quality of products. The amount of loan credit to be issued to the suppliers in a supply chain business transaction is determined according to the gross profit margin of each supplier, and loan approvals are issued to the suppliers according to their gross profit margins in the supply chain business transaction. The amount of insurance coverage to be issued to suppliers in a supply chain business transaction is determined according to the gross profit margin of each supplier, and insurance approvals are issued to the suppliers according to their gross profit margins in the supply chain business transaction.
