The unloading device comprises a catching lance movable in a tube longitudinal direction and insertable in an interior of the tube to be machined, a roller-shaped supporting element movable in a vertical direction for supporting the catching lance, a storage area (24) movable in the vertical direction for storing a tube section, to be separated, at a cutting processing of the tube, and a wiper movable in the tube longitudinal direction in the form of a supporting roller for supporting the catching lance. The wiper or the supporting element is movably mounted on the vertical direction. The unloading device comprises a catching lance movable in a longitudinal direction of a tube to be machined and insertable in an interior of the tube, a roller-shaped supporting element movable in a vertical direction for supporting the catching lance, a storage area (24) movable in the vertical direction for storing a tube section, to be separated, at a cutting processing of the tube, and a wiper movable in the tube longitudinal direction in the form of a supporting roller for supporting the catching lance. The wiper or the supporting element is movably mounted on the vertical direction. The wiper comprises: a scraping element, which is slidably mounted on the wiper in the tube longitudinal direction; and holders, which is movably mounted, in the vertical direction, on a wiper sledge traversable in the tube longitudinal direction. The storage area is formed on a storage slide (23) movable in the tube longitudinal direction. The storage slide is moved transverse to the tube longitudinal direction, and comprises a side arm for moving the storage area of the storage slide transverse to the tube longitudinal direction. The storage area is mounted on the storage slide in a height-adjustable manner. The support area of the support slide: is prismatic such that it forms an apex of the storage area and increases an edge extending in the tube longitudinal direction that is proceeding transversely to the tube longitudinal direction on both sides; and is pivoted between a first position for storing tube sections and a second position for discharging tube sections. The catching lance is slidably mounted on a catching lance holder in the tube longitudinal direction. The unloading device further comprises an inclined unloading surface, which adjoins in a direction transverse to the tube longitudinal direction at the storage area of the storage slide and extends in the tube longitudinal direction. An independent claim is included for a method for cutting processing of a tube using a laser processing device.
