The device (1) has an inner tube (15) coaxially arranged in an outer tube (12), and rotatably supported by the outer tube so that the inner tube is shifted in a direction along a central axis line (2) of a lens retaining shaft (3). A hollow spindle (4) is coaxially arranged in the inner tube and rotatably supported at the central axis line by the inner tube. A lens retaining instrument (5) is coaxially attached to a lower end of the spindle. A pressure application spring (14) downwardly preloads the inner tube in a direction in relation to the outer tube.
