The tumbling tool (1) has a wheel unit (2) rotatably connected with a guide device (3), where the wheel unit has a radial outer jacket surface area curved in an outward direction. The outer jacket surface area exhibits small adhesion force with respect to an adhesive, where the tumbling tool is formed such that superficial curing of the adhesive is enabled by entering of heat into the wheel unit during processing of an adhesive joining seam. A predefined heat is transferred to the adhesive joining seam through the tumbling tool. An independent claim is also included for a method for forming an adhesive joining seam.
