PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an uplink (UL) hybrid automatic request (HARQ) only with PHICH when requiring retransmission of one transport block (TB) only in UL MIMO.SOLUTION: In the state where PDCCH for PUSCH retransmission cannot be received, PHICH is received and an ACK/NACK signal of PHICH is discriminated. If all of ACKs are received for the TB, the PUSCH retransmission is stopped. If all NACKs are received for the TB, all two TB are re-transmitted and the same PHICH is observed. If it is not necessary to re-transmit a TB2 (case 2s), the TB to be re-transmitted is re-transmitted using a scrambling train and RS, and PHICH is observed. If there is not need of retransmission (case 3), TB is re-transmitted using the scrambling train and PHICH is observed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
