PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement route extraction device for presenting an approximate route close to the shape of a movement line input by a user.;SOLUTION: The movement route extraction device includes: a map database 10 including intersection information; an intersection string extraction unit 20 for extracting, from intersection information, an intersection information string corresponding to a movement line input by a user, on the basis of the movement line; an approximation route extraction unit 30 for extracting an approximate route close to the shape of the movement line, from a plurality of movement routes expressed by the intersection information string; and a similarity determination unit 40 for determining the similarity of the shape of the approximate route with that of the movement line.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
