PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems and methods for enhancing continuous awareness in vehicles using haptic feedback.SOLUTION: A system 100 includes: a sensor 150 configured to sense information associated with a vehicle's surroundings, environment and/or condition and output a sensor signal on the basis of the sensed information; a processor 110 configured to receive the sensor signal, determine haptic feedback for the system to display on the basis of the sensor signal, and output a haptic control signal; and a haptic output device 160 configured to receive the haptic control signal from the processor 110 and generate the haptic feedback to a driver of the vehicle on the basis of the haptic control signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
