PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost eraser which is used for a large writing device such as a whiteboard and an electronic blackboard device, and can be used for a longer period of time without degrading erasability.SOLUTION: A device for cutting a surface of an eraser includes a plurality of first blades which are arranged vertically to an erasing surface of the eraser and form a plurality of slits in a long direction of the eraser, and a second blade which is arranged horizontally to the erasing surface of the eraser and cuts between the plurality of slits formed by the first blades.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
