PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste culm cutter of a combine-harvester required to diffuse and discharge the cut straw, which is fed to and cut by a cut part of the waste culm cutter, is required to be widely diffused in a uniform layer onto the cutting travel mark ground surface of the combine-harvester and is discharged, but the diffused and discharged straw layer has a tendency to rise, thereby to interfere with the cut grass-divided lever to pass in a subsequent cutting and running work, and the cutting blade device or the like so that it becomes liable to hook or disturb the cutting operation.SOLUTION: In the inner face of a side-cover 13 on the butt side end portion of a rear cover 12, an inclined guide surface 19 is formed by bending the lower end portion to the inner side, and the butt side cut straw is blown by the discharge wind from an air outlet 17 by said diffusion discharge air fan 16 to the inner side of that butt-side side-cover 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
