PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrode plate group for a lead storage battery, capable of reducing a number of dusts.SOLUTION: Although a pair of front surface parts opposite to a thickness direction of an ear part 2 is cut into a thickness including an oxide film 5 in a sheet-like sawdust 9 by using a cutting tool 7 for generating a thin sheet-like sawdust 9, the sawdust 9 is connected to the ear part. At the time of forming an exposure outer side surface 6 in a cutting step, the sawdust 9 is ejected with a cutting dust 2' in a state in which the sawdust 9 is not separated from the ear part. As a result, only one dust is ejected in one ear part, and advantageous in easy dust processing can be obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
