PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slag component estimation method allowing for estimation of a slag component with high accuracy, a flux calculation method and a hot metal preliminary treatment method, allowing for reduction of amount of use a flux.;SOLUTION: When at least one refining treatment among desiliconization, dephosphorization or decarbonization is applied to a hot metal in a hot metal treatment apparatus, a first slag component is calculated (step S200) using material balance, for slag generated in refining treatment, error in the first slag component is calculated(step S206) on the basis of the past data similar to the treatment conditions of refining treatment, a second slag component which is a final estimation component of the slag is calculated (step S208) based on the first slag component and the error.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
