PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air flow drying device and an air flow drying method in which an item to be dried in a cylindrical drying drum is circulated and flowed with drying air to elongate a contact distance with the drying air and staying time to perform an efficient drying along a passage for the item to be dried by the drying air.;SOLUTION: A cylindrical drying drum 2 is provided with a feeding port 3 at one end of each of barrel parts 2A in its axial direction and a discharging port 4 at the other end. Guide plates 5A are upright in a helical manner at an inner circumferential surface of the drying drum 2 and helical dried item passages 5 are formed from the feeding port 3 toward the discharging port 4. A plurality of drying air blowing ports 7 formed to be spaced apart in an axial direction at barrel parts 2A of the drying drum 2 and opened to the dried item passage are connected to a hot air blower through an air blowing pipe 8. A forced discharging device 9 is arranged at each of the plurality of discharging ports formed to be spaced apart in an axial direction of the barrel parts 2A of the drying drum 2 so as to discharge the humidifying air in the drying drum 2 to outside.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
