PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a tea drink which is excellent in the extraction efficiency of tannin and theanine from tea leaves and enables production of a tea drink excellent in deliciousness and a tea drink.;SOLUTION: A tea drink contains a tea extract obtained by conducting a steaming step and a rough crumpling step and pressing tea leaves toward an extrusion plate provided with a plurality of holes of 176.6 mm² or greater to cut the tea leaves and extracting the cut tea leaves with water of 90°C or lower. A production method of a tea drink includes a steaming step and a rough crumpling step and a step of pressing tea leaves toward an extrusion plate provided with a plurality of holes of 176.6 mm² or greater to cut the tea leaves and extracting a tea extract from the cut tea leaves with water of 90°C or lower.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
