PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve advanced treatment of treated water quality in sewage treatment, reduction of an amount of treatment sludge and odor, prevent deterioration of fouling of a separation membrane, and achieve long service life of the separation membrane.SOLUTION: Provided is a sewage treatment device comprising: a solid liquid separation device; a sludge modification machine for storing living body growth media for decomposing a polluted matter and sludge; and a membrane treatment device. The membrane treatment device is disposed on a downstream side of the solid liquid separation device and the sludge modification machine.
