PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column reinforcement method to be implemented simply and efficiently when available work space and work time are extremely limited.;SOLUTION: A colum reinforcement method includes a process to arrange a plurality of steel plates 3 around the column to be reinforced, a process to attach a reinforcement sheet impregnated with an adhesive on the outer surface of the steel plates 3, and a process to connect the edges of the adjacent steel plates 3. A column reinforcement structure comprises a plurality of steel plates 3 arranged around a column 10 to be reinforced and a reinforcement sheet 8 attached on the outer surface of the steel plates 3 with an adhesive, and has the edges of the adjacent steel plates 3 connected directly or via the edges of the reinforcement sheets 8, using a fastener 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
