ELECTRON CAPTURE DETECTOR AND GAS CHROMATOGRAPH INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ECD detector capable of suppressing contamination of a radiation source as well as contamination of a collector electrode.;SOLUTION: An ECD detector 16 includes: a radiation source 22 that contains a radioactive isotope, and is arranged on the inner wall of the side surface of a cell chamber 20; a collector electrode 24 that is arranged on the apex side of the cell chamber so that the tip part of the collector electrode is exposed into the cell chamber; and a sample gas introduction port 26 that is arranged at the bottom part of the cell chamber, and flows make-up gas and gas from a separation column into the cell chamber. The ECD detector further includes a purge gas introduction part 32 that flows purge gas into the cell chamber along the collector electrode, and a gas discharge part that has an opening outside of the sample gas introduction port.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
