PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship navigation supporting system and a ship navigation supporting method in which prediction method of energy demand in a living quarter is established.;SOLUTION: A ship navigation supporting system comprises: a prediction model construction unit 22 which constructs a plurality of energy prediction models based on the past energy demand record of inboard demand in the ship to calculate information capacity standard for each type of a plurality of information capacity standards; a prediction model selection unit 23 that selects an energy optimization prediction model of which information capacity standard is the minimum from the energy prediction models constructed by the prediction model construction unit 22; and a prediction unit 24 which performs a ship energy demand prediction based on the energy optimization prediction model, weather/marine meteorology and ocean current prediction, and the past energy demand record.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
