PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving handrail driving apparatus of an escalator in which variation of deterioration in each drive roller can be reduced.;SOLUTION: A moving handrail driving apparatus comprises: a plurality of drive rollers 1 which are provided in contact with a moving handrail 100 and are rotated by transmitting torque; a plurality of pressure rollers 3 which are provided corresponding to each drive roller 1 and sandwich the moving handrail 100 together with the corresponding drive rollers 1; a plurality of pressure generating devices 4 which generate pressure between each drive roller 1 and the moving handrail 100 individually in an adjustable manner regarding the drive roller 1; a plurality of torque measuring devices 6 which measure torque transmitted to each drive roller 1; and a control device 5 that controls each pressure generating device 4 such that a difference of torque transmitted to each drive roller 1 is made smaller by using a measurement result of each torque measuring device 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT
