PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold set for forming a dumpling or a dumpling-like food product, to provide a compressing apparatus usable for compressing the mold set, and to provide a dumpling-molding machine having the mold set and the compressing apparatus.;SOLUTION: The mold set (10) used for molding the dumpling or the dumpling-like food product has a pair of jaws (11, 12). The pair of the jaws (11, 12) is configured to clamp a dough pad covering over a filling by closing them, and thereby to form a raw product of the dumpling or dumpling-like food product.
