PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-capturing apparatus system, an external apparatus, a camera, and a control method of the image-capturing apparatus system, which make it possible to automatically switch image transmission in response to the camera's motion, when attaching a plurality of external apparatuses in a case that an image capturing unit capable of capturing an image of an image-capturing person himself/herself is included in the plurality of external apparatuses.SOLUTION: An image-capturing apparatus system includes: a camera 10 to which a plurality of external apparatuses are communicably connected, where one of the plurality of external apparatuses is an image capturing unit 30 capable of capturing an image of an image capturing person himself/herself; a communication control unit for switching On and Off of image transmission between the camera 10 and the external apparatus; and an acceleration detection unit 5 for detecting camera's motion. The communication control unit switches On and Off of image transmission from the image capturing unit 30 in response to a result of the detection by the acceleration detection unit 5.
