PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel sensor substrate capable of preventing a part of a display area A₁ from being conspicuously and visually recognized.;SOLUTION: A touch panel sensor substrate 10 includes a substrate 11, and a touch panel sensor portion 30 provided on one side of the substrate 11. The touch panel portion 30 has a first insulation layer 36 provided on one side of the substrate 11 so as to form a plurality of recessed portions 36b; and a plurality of first electrode patterns 31 extending in a first direction and a plurality of second electrode patterns 32 extending in a second direction, which are provided so as to be positioned on the one side rather than the first insulation layer 36.
