PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise due to the supply of gas in a hood part of a protective hood.;SOLUTION: The protective hood 1 includes: a hood part 40; and a gas supply path 41 formed from at least back of the head to the front of the top A of the head of the hood part 40, into which a blowing pipe 21 can be inserted from a rear end opening 60 at the back side of the head and which flows gas from a tip opening 61 at the front side of the top A of the head into the hood part 40.
