This invention relates to an activator (1), comprising: - a shank (2) with an internal screw thread; - a force transmitting element (3), which is movable in the shaft (2) between a start position and an end position; - an energy storage element (4), such that when the force transmitting element (3) is moved from its starting position to its end position, energy is stored and when the energy is released, the force transmitting element (3) is moved from its end position to its starting position; - and a force building element (5), comprising an engaging element (6), with an external screw thread (16) for engaging the internal screw thread (14) of the shaft (2), such that the engaging element (6) is movable between a start position and end position corresponding to the start position and the end position of the force transmitting element (3) and wherein the engaging element (6) is adjustable in a first position, its external screw thread (16) in the internal screw thread (14) of the shaft (2) engages and a second position, wherein the engaging element (6) is separate from the shaft (2).
