Absorbable polyethylene diglycolate copolymers to reduce microbial adhesion in medical devices and implants. The present invention relates to absorbable polyester esters which have been found to reduce microbial adhesion in materials such as medical devices and implants. more specifically, the invention relates to novel amorphous copolymers comprising copolymerized polyethylene diglycolate (pedg) as lactide rich monomers.
