摘要
The stent graft to the aorta with system of curving of the summary is a stent graft for the treatment of human aorta, innovated by the ability to be bent by the surgeon during its implantation. To do so, it has in its inside a thread, said thread of control. This wire is fixed to the inner edge of the stent proximal, from where it is maintained close to the inner wall of small straps attached to the stent graft, along a length of the stent graft. The other end of the wire is free and long enough to be maintained under the control of the surgeon. For the operation, the stent is positioned in the aorta to be treated, tending to position the control wire coincide with the inner part of the curvature of the vessel. The surgeon then releases the most proximal segment of the stent and applies traction to the control wire while holding the system of release of the stent, resulting in bending of the end of the stent graft, to which the wire is fixed.Obtained the curve that best fits the tortuosity of the vessel, the surgeon applies a twist to the yarn, which results in rupture at a point called fuse, composed of material of high tensile strength and low resistance to torsion, located between the free and the segment set P. It handles. After its rupture, the wire can then be removed and discarded. The maintenance of the curvature is guaranteed by the imbricamento between grooves existing on the surface of the thread and the straps. Any curvature applied to the stent could not be undone and, once broken the fuse, no additional curvature may be applied.
