Abstract This Repair scheme is used for Repair of Big Lug & Small Lug surfaces of Blade fork which are worn out by the Nuts (mating parts) assemble on it due to dynamic loads at Main Rotor Blade area installed on upper control s ystem of Integrated Dynamic System of Helicopter. Blade fork lugs wear out due to rubbing of nut installed on it is during flying A Repair scheme is deve loped to repair the worn out lugs through plasma spray coating. In the repair scheme first material removal through Milling, where the step mark is having 0.2mm deep. Blade fork will be degreased & entire blade fork will be masked except the lugs area for depositio n of Tungsten carbide material, then plasma spray coating of tungsten carbide power, de-mask the entire blade fork, Post machine the Lugs surface through Grinding method for meeting the drawing requirement, CD check, Inspection, Blade fork assembly with Nuts. This Repair method has helped to Repair the Blade fork lug areas through plasma spray coating of Tungstencarbide materiarforreuse.
