A device to measure the change in the position of the femur during endoprosthesis of the total hip joint, which contains a base element attached to the pelvic bone and screwed to that bone by a screw in such a way as to prevent it from moving during surgery, has been revealed, and a measuring arm mounted on the base element in a detachable manner, the measuring arm containing a base mounted on the base element on which the acceleration sensors, the magnetic field and the gyroscopic field are mounted. It is connected to the base (2) by means of a Cardan joint or a round moving member I(4) and a moving member II(6) by a rotary joint,Cardana or ballistic devices fitted with accelerometers, magnetic fields and gyroscopes. The device is also equipped with a microprocessor system (5) which converts the data received from the sensors.
