The invention also relates to a fuel element storage pool cooling system (40), comprising at least one fuel element storage rack (42, 64, 66) with storage spaces (44, 68) for accommodating fuel elements (46), and at least one fuel element storage pool cooling module (10, 20, 48) according to the invention which is arranged in one of the storage spaces (44, 68) for accommodating fuel elements (46).
