The objective is to enable various disassembled structural components to be neatly organized and placed on a work floor, to facilitate the management of the disassembly and assembly work, to improve work efficiency, and to enable the structure, mechanisms, and the like to be taught systematically. This instructional material system, whereby a completed electric vehicle (EV) on a work floor is disassembled into each of multiple predetermined structural components, and the structural components are assembled to complete the electric vehicle, is equipped with a component mat (30), which is spread out on the work floor, and on which all or a portion of the disassembled structural components are placed. Flat component images (31) representing each structure component are displayed on the surface of the component mat (30), and the corresponding structural components can be placed on the flat component images (31). The component mat is divided into multiple divided component mats, with a chassis mat (30S), a first component mat (30A), a second component mat (30B), and a third component mat (30C) being provided as the divided component mats.
