DEVICE FOR INTENSIVE CULTIVATION OF OYSTER MUSHROOMS

A device for the intensive cultivation of tree-growing mushrooms. The device is in the form of vertical columns, installed vertically on a movable platform with vertical rods. Installed on, and secured to, each rod are a securing tube and a base, which are capable of being rotated around a vertical axis of the rod. A vertical column, composed of containers affixed to the securing tubes, is formed on each base, the containers being in the form of latticed cylindrical cages having side walls with rectangular openings for the unhindered growth of mushrooms and easy access to same. Each cage is inserted into a multi-piece cylindrical cassette, which allows for filling the cage with a substrate having mushroom mycelium. Each cassette is assembled from two sections, forming a whole, cup-shaped cassette having thin, cylindrical walls and a bottom with an opening, into which opening a securing support tube is installed. The top of the cage is open. Following the spread of the mycelium, the cassettes are disassembled by hand and taken off of the cages, moving the sections apart horizontally so as to form a vertical growing pillar comprised of the mycelium-containing substrate. Also provided for are the processes of binding the substrates via the spread of mycelium, and forming a column of mycelium-containing substrate without damaging the mushroom spawn when removing the cassettes. The device eliminates mushroom disease and provides optimum conditions for mushroom growth.
