The invention relates to a packaging for dispatch of a chilled, frozen, or fresh product having a plurality of layers made of different materials for padding and heat insulation. By means of the invention, on the one hand, a cost-effective transport packaging having thermal and mechanical insulation should be provided and, on the other hand, a flexible, optimally adaptable shape should prevent large free spaces in transport containers, such that in particular an advantageous and space-saving alternative to expanded polystyrene boxes should be provided. In addition a packaging is used which can be adapted flexibly to the volume of the product to be dispatched.
