COAL DRYING APPARATUS OF UPWARD DIRECT SPRAY REHEATING TYPE USING LOW-PRESSURE SUPERHEATED STEAM

A coal drying apparatus of a direct upward spray reheating type using low-pressure superheated steam according to the present invention comprises: a combustor to heat a water pipe installed in a combustion furnace by combusting coal supplied from a coal yard for storing the coal used as fuel in a thermoelectric power plant to produce steam; a superheater to superheat the steam produced in the fluidized bed combustor by discharge gas which is discharged from the fluidized bed combustor and flows in a discharge gas flow pipe; a coal dryer comprising a first dryer to which the coal is supplied from the coal yard and the superheated steam is supplied from the superheater to firstly dry the coal, and a second dryer to which the firstly dried coal is transferred from the first dryer to secondly dry the coal; and a reheater comprising a gas chamber to which discharge gas discharged from the superheater is supplied, and a discharge steam flow pipe installed in the gas chamber to allow discharge steam discharged from the coal dryer to flow therein, and reheating the discharge steam by the discharge gas to produce reheated steam and supply the reheated steam to the second dryer. Each of the first and the second dryer comprises: a conveyor belt to transfer the coal in a housing thereof; and a steam chamber disposed on a lower side of the conveyor belt and provided with a through hole formed on an upper portion thereof.
