A method for providing a vocabulary learning service is provided. The method for providing the vocabulary learning service comprises the steps of: receiving at least one vocabulary through at least one user interface; receiving selected at least one event in which the inputted at least one vocabulary is exposed; when the at least one event matches the current condition of an apparatus for providing a vocabulary learning service, displaying the at least one vocabulary on a screen of the apparatus for providing the vocabulary learning service; receiving a meaning of the displayed at least one vocabulary through at least one user interface; and when a meaning of the inputted vocabulary does not match a meaning of the pre-stored displayed word, executing none of the at least one event matching the current condition.
