The present invention relates to Samgyetang (Korean traditional chicken soup with ginseng) using black soybeans and to a method of manufacturing the same. More particularly, the present invention is characterized by including the following steps: inputting medicinal herbs including kalopanax, astragalus roots, and Acanthopanax senticosus into water and heating the resultant mixture to prepare broth; soaking black soybeans in water; putting the black soybeans, which has been soaked, into water to boil; pulverizing the boiled black soybeans to prepare for a next step; thoroughly washing and trimming a chicken; filling the abdominal cavity of the chicken with ginseng, glutinous rice, jujubes, and garlic to prepare for a next step; putting the prepared chicken into the prepared broth to heat; and putting the pulverized and boiled black soybean into the boiled Samgyetang to additionally heat. The present invention has advantages of giving new flavor to Samgyetang and enhancing a nutritional value thereof, thus promoting consumption thereof. In addition, since nutrients of broth can be sufficiently taken as the pulverized black soybeans are ingested together, the present invention also has an advantage of encouraging a person who takes in Samgyetang to keep his/her health.
