A method for preventing a loss of an embankment enables an embankment to be made of concrete in order to be seem like to have increased durability and be strong. However, an ecosystem and a food chain are destroyed and water plants cannot be grown when the embankment is made of the concrete. Water of a river can be preserved only by making mud flats, and various insects, animals, and plants can be propagated since water is stored. Therefore, the food chain is continued to maintain the environmentally friendly river and prevent the loss of the embankment caused by a flood. Moreover, moisture on a floor of the river enables propagation of water plant and becomes a breeding site of fish. Moreover, an otter can live, and the mud flat becomes the breeding site of the otter. Moreover, the otter can freely propagate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
