The present invention relates to a method for producing purified bee venom to remove allergen. The present invention further relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating inflammatory disease, containing the purified bee venom as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, removed from the purified bee venom are phospholipase A2 (PLA2) and histamine acting as the allergen, thereby reducing side effects (pain, edema, urtication, rash, and the like) while increasing the content of melittin, an active ingredient. Based on more excellent anti-inflammatory effects than an existing counterpart, the purified bee venom of the present invention can be used as pharmaceutical compositions for preventing and treating inflammatory disease.
