METHOD AND APPARATUS TO KEEPING ORDERS AMONG MESSAGES OF DISCRETE MEDIA TYPE IN CPM SESSION

PURPOSE: A method for protecting the message delivery order of a discrete media type in a CPM(Converged IP Messaging) session preventing the confusion of a user is provided to generate a message of a discrete media type in the CPM session.;CONSTITUTION: In case a sequence number is included within a received message, a client compares the maximum value and sequence number among the sequence number of the received message(S220, S230). In case the sequence number is bigger than the maximum value, a client inspects the sequence number is the next sequence number approval of the existing incoming message(S240).
