To set the CoMP among a plurality of access nodes (coordinated multi-point) cooperating set including the anchor access node. The anchor access node may receive one or more UE measurement report related to the measurement channel of the user equipment (UE) for one or more access nodes of the plurality of access nodes. The anchor access node determines whether to use the CoMP transmission on the basis of the measurement reports of the UE. In response to determining to use the CoMP transmission, the anchor access node will add at least one access node of the plurality of access nodes in the candidate list CoMP. The anchor access node sends a request to start a CoMP transmission to at least one access node of the plurality of access nodes. In response to receiving the plurality of access nodes at least one acknowledgment signal from the access node of the second access node is added to the cooperative CoMP set. ;
