A charging method for an electric vehicle based on RF energy harvesting includes: a step of transmitting an RF signal in a first communications method; a step of receiving the RF signal through a rectenna attached to an external surface of the electric vehicle and performing energy harvesting by using the RF signal; a step of allowing the electric vehicle to transmit charging information including the charging rate of a battery through the antenna in the first communication method; and a step of allowing the charging device to receive the charging information and control the transmission of the RF signal based on the charging rate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
