Disclosed is a high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, which has a movable HIFU transducer in response to a location of a treatment target of a patient. The HIFU apparatus includes: an image photographing unit formed therein with a space to accommodate a patient for generating an image regarding a treatment target of the patient; a patient transferring unit on which the patient is located and which transfers the patient to the space; an HIFU unit connected to a robot arm assembly and included therein with an HIFU transducer intensively outputting ultrasonic energy to a focus area, thereby outputting high intensity ultrasonic energy; a robot arm assembly connected to the HIFU unit for moving the HIFU unit to a position corresponding to the treatment target; and a control unit for controlling a movement of the HIFU apparatus including a position movement of at least one of the patient transferring unit and the robot arm assembly.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
