FIELD: food industry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food industry, in particular, to a method for the production of an artificial casing for food products, to the artificial casing produced by such method and such casing filling with food products. One obtains a gel undergoing extrusion and containing fibrous collagen dispersion. One installs an extrusion head containing an outlet hole for the release of the extruded material; such hole has a closed noncircular geometrical shape.
