FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to press the bearing assembly on wheel pair axle of railway car. Proposed unit comprises frame to support pressing assembly with drive for moving press-fitted parts, lift-turn device with position sensors for wheel pair axle are equipped with hydraulic drive sliding support which body is rigidly connected to frame. Inside the housing of sliding stop there is movable sleeve pivotally connected with spindle rod of aligned hydraulic cylinder of the said hydraulic drive. Movable sleeve is arranged to move in parallel to the wheel pair axle and contains coaxial spring-loaded cone and distance sensor measuring interval between movable sleeve and end face of wheel pair axle.;EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of wheel pair axle fixation in preset position prior to press bearing assembly, which increases reliability of pressed device.;1 cl, 8 dwg
