PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A FOOD SUPPLEMENT BASED ON ESSENTIAL OILS IN POWDER

The present invention relates to methods of manufacturing a food supplement based on at least one essential oil powder. The method essentially consists in pre-centrifuging a quantity of seaweed at a speed V1; to bring the centrifugation rate to a value V2 greater than V1 while mixing, with the seaweed, a pulverized essential oil raised to a predetermined temperature; subjecting the seaweed-essential oil mixture to a predetermined pressure under a given gas atmosphere; to bring back the essential seaweed-oil mixture at atmospheric pressure and at room temperature, to subject the essential oil-seaweed mixture to another centrifugation while adding a certain amount of plant solids and colloidal silica, and to leave rest the final mixture to obtain a powder capable of constituting the food supplement based on essential oil powder.
