The floor mat is connected to the extensible bumper by a piece of steel (40) (type of bicycle brake). The berthing of the trucks is done in a "classic" way, namely with bumpers with a projection of 100 to 150 mm (see figure 01). Indeed the extensible bumper (30) behaves like a standard bumper with a projection of 100 to 150 mm, to reduce the risk of accident it is recommended to create a safety space of 500 mm, the bumper is positioned in projection 500mm in case of detection of a human presence.
