There is provided a traffic control method in a railway comprising tracks, at least one station comprising an own dock receiving platform doors (22), and at least one carrier. The vehicle includes a controller adapted to implement first and second separate protocols.; The method comprises the steps of: - implementation by default the first protocol, - eventual transmission to the controller of information specific to a dock, said dock stream, the information being transmitted from an inhibiting device (26) external to the vehicle, and - if specific information is received, implementation of the second protocol when the vehicle is parked aware dock or it circulates and that the next dock is the current dock.
