The invention relates to a thermoplastic elastomer composition of an elastomer and a non-elastomeric polyolefin which is functionalized with an anhydride of an organic carboxylic acid. Furthermore, the invention also relates to the use of a mixture of an elastomer and a crosslinking agent for the elastomer for producing a thermoplastic elastomer composition according to the invention. Another object of the invention is the use of a non-elastomeric polyolefin, which is functionalized with an anhydride of an organic carboxylic acid, for producing a thermoplastic elastomer composition according to the invention. Moreover, the invention relates to the use of a thermoplastic elastomer composition according to the invention for producing an article / composite material with a polyamide. The invention also relates to a process for producing a thermoplastic elastomer composition according to the invention and to a composite material of the thermoplastic elastomer composition according to the invention with a polyamide.
