PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reliably detect that a train is stopped at a fixed position.;SOLUTION: A train fixed position stop detector 10 measures a distance to a rear vehicle end 16R at a car coupling part 18 by using a distance measuring device 12 disposed at a station by being displaced from a center position 20CL of a fixed position range 20, and determines a positional relation between the car coupling part 18 and the fixed position range 20 on the basis of the measured distance. Accordingly, by disposing the distance measuring device 12 at the station by displacing it from the center position 20CL of the fixed position range 20, the distance measuring device 12 can measure, regardless of a position of a train 14, a distance to the vehicle end at the car coupling part 18 on an opposite side of a direction in which the distance measuring device 12 is displaced.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
